Hilde Bakering was born and raised in the Netherlands. When she was 18, she moved to Switzerland, and ended up living in the United Kingdom, by way of Spain, France, Greece, and the United States. She now lives in Nottingham with her husband and four cats.
Hilde has always been interested in photography, and started snapping pictures of everything and everyone around her when she was 6 years old. Her love for nature speaks through most of her photographs – Hilde’s main interest is photographing flowers (macro) and animals.
